Donna’s specialty is providing a safe, comfortable, interactive environment for her clients. Her approach relies on guiding clients through difficult conversations, deep-seated trauma, and the ability to share out loud in a non-judgmental zone. She has vast experience in helping clients get through various forms of trauma. Donna’s passion is mental health and helping those that are struggling with life’s challenges and transitions.
Helping others is her whole life.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in General Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, from Central Connecticut University. She graduated with high honors with both of her Master’s degrees, Health/Behavioral Psychology and General Psychology from North Central University in Prescott, Arizona.
Donna's demonstrated approach is based on each individual client's needs using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing (MI), Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered, and an array of other treatment and techniques to ensure the therapeutic process is personalized, collaborative, and unique for each client.
To practice her own self-care, when Donna is not working, she enjoys traveling, baking, and playing with her dogs Karma and Georgia. She also enjoys reading up on the latest research to broaden her clinical skills.
